Dr. Charles Ebert, a board certified surgeon, began his practice of Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas in 1984 after practicing in Mobile. Alabama for 10 years. He quickly became recognized as a talented and compassionate surgeon. His peers elected him to the presidency of the Clark County Medical Society followed by election to the presidency of the Nevada State Medical Association. He was selected to Who Who’s in Medicine and served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Valley Hospital and the University Medical Center.
His artistic ability ( his multimedia work has hung in national showings) allows him to more easily visualize and perform cosmetic surgery. His over thirty years experience in Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery gives him a unique perspective in satisfying your desires in surgery and helping you express what your needs are using computer generated visualization.
Dr. Ebert graduated with an MD degree from George Washington University and served a surgical internship at the DC General Hospital in Washington, D.C. Following this training he served four years as a general medical officer and general surgeon in the United States Air Force at the height of the Vietnam War.
Following his discharge from the Air Force, Dr. Ebert completed his residencies in general and plastic surgery at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C. He served both as Chief Resident in General Surgery and Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery. He was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1979. While practicing in Mobile, Alabama Dr. Ebert was Chief of Plastic Surgery at Doctor’s Hospital and held an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery on the faculty of the University of South Alabama Medical School.
In 1984 Dr. Ebert decided to move his practice to Las Vegas and has practiced here ever since. The emphasis on cases has been on facial surgery including rhinoplasty and body contouring( breast surgery, tummy tucks, and liposuction) as well as a wide variety of reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Ebert is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a former member of the American Society of Aesthetic Surgeons as well as the Clark County Medical Society and Nevada State Medical Association.
Dr. Ebert has been extremely active in the Las Vegas community serving in many positions for the Boy Scouts of America, the Opera Guild and the Kiwanis Club. He has been awarded the District Award of Merit, the Silver Beaver and is an Eagle Scout. He has been awarded The Grand Collar as a Knight Commander of the Sovereign Order of the Oak.
He is married, has five children and eight grandchildren. In what little spare time he has, he enjoys, sailing, skiing, camping , scuba diving, golf and photography.
